Please read the information below which gives details of our Pupil Premium Grant and how we allocate the funding.
Pupil Premium Grant
Since April 2011, schools have received additional funding from the Government in the form of the Pupil Premium. The funding allocated to each school is to be used to support pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds. This school ensures that the funding received is used to meet the needs of individual children.
In 2013/14 Bridekirk Dovenby School received its first Pupil Premium funding, £953 basic Pupil Premium.
In 2014/15 Bridekirk Dovenby School also received its first Pupil Premium Plus. Total funding received for disadvantaged pupils in 2014/15 was £3,200. This amount included £1,300 Pupil Premium and £1,900 Pupil Premium Plus.
In 2015/16 Bridekirk Dovenby School received Pupil Premium Funding for three further pupils in addition to that received in 2014/15. The total Pupil Premium Grant received for 2015/16 was £7,203 being £1,900 Pupil Premium Plus and £1,320 Pupil Premium for each of four children. School also received £23 owed from 2014/2015.
In 2016/17 monies were received for four Pupil Premium children (£5,280) and one Pupil Premium Plus child (£1,900).

Impact of Pupil Premium Grant
Information has been suppressed as the underlying numbers are too small. Children are doing well as a result of these provisions. Attainment gaps are monitored and interventions modified as necessary to ensure gaps are diminished and the progress of the more able is being accelerated. Further information can be provided by the school to authorised persons.
