School Dinners
At Bridekirk Dovenby School our kitchen team, lead by Mrs McMillin, make all the school dinners on site everyday. There is always a choice of a hot main meal with a veggie alternative, as well as jacket potatoes, wraps and sandwiches with a selection of fillings.
Your children have the chance to choose their own dessert everyday with a choice including homemade cakes, custard, yoghurts, fruit, pancakes and jelly.
On special occasions, Mrs McMillin has treated the children to Valentine's Love Heart Biscuits, spooky Halloween Buns and at Christmas, homemade sticky toffee pudding.
For all children, dinners need to be ordered on school's Eduspot App. We have a 3-week menu rotation which we add to the App as soon as possible and all meals can be added or amended up to midnight the day before service.
Children in Key Stage 1 are automatically eligible for Universal Free School Meals. This is reception, year 1 and year 2.
For children in Key Stage 2 our dinners are £3.00 per meal (as at March 2025) and need to be paid for at the time of ordering on a pay-as-you-go basis.
