We are seeking to appoint a Kitchen Assistant, who will support the Kitchen Team Leader with the preparation, service and clean-up of our in-house school dinner provision.
The main duties of this position are basic food preparation, setting up the dining hall and trolleys for food service, washing up and cleaning. The Kitchen Assistant will be provided with all relevant training to allow them to fulfill this position.
Applicants must have relevant experience and qualifications i.e. NVQ 2 or equivalent experience working in a food service environment. They will hold a Food Hygiene certificate and have experience of working effectively in a team role.
