Cross Country Championships
The County Cross Country Championships took place at Hunter Hall School, Penrith and four teams from Bridekirk Dovenby School were entered for this event. There were runners from all over Cumbria and the course, with the wall and stream crossing, proved to be a big hit with many of the children.
On receiving the final results, we were impressed with all our runners and especially Toby as the fastest 12 in each of the year 5 & 6 races had a chance to represent Cumbria later in the year at the National Cross Country Championships and Toby will be competing as he was 5th in his category.
We are very proud of all our runners in this event and the whole school effort was impressive.
