We enjoyed learning how to appreciate classical music whilst being entertained by Graffiti Classics. Here is a sample of our learning and enjoyment!
Setting the Scene
Lots of singing and lots of listening but little talking!
Listen To The Tempo Of The Music!
The children enjoyed the varied pace of this piece of music and joined in with clapping!
Pizzicato or Arco!
Learning new musical terms and dancing to pizzicato!
P4 join Graffiti Classics
The whole school learnt the first verse and P4 composed and sang the second verse. The words they wrote were very meaningful for us all.
Audience Participation
The players moved around the children so that they could experience the sound of the instruments close up! Keep watching to the end...
Story Telling Through Music!
Who wins the battle and gains the golden fiddle? We all wanted to join in and dance!
What Shall We Do With A Drunken Sailor?
Sound effects and Josh to help the music come alive - even more!
Finale - Can We Do The Can Can Can
The final piece of music and a thank you to the musicians!
