In our home corner, we have added some atlases, large maps and a globe, which has sparked lots of talk all about in the world in which we live. We have enjoyed finding different countries and seeing how far they are away from us here in England. We talked about global communications and how talking to people on the other side of the world is so easy now with the technology we have.
Looking at the changes in seasons and the weather is really interesting to us in Reception. Apart from watching the tree change with each season, through our ‘Seasons Window’, we like to get outside and experience our local area and see the changes that happen in our immediate environment.
