Pastoral Care
Currently, Mrs Brew runs our pastoral care group on a Friday afternoon.
This little group is made up of different children each half term or term - depending on how long we feel the group needs to continue.
Each session lasts for 30 minutes and has a different focus for the block of sessions.
Children can be referred to these sessions in a variety of ways. They may tell a teacher they are struggling in a certain aspect of school life or learning, they may be referred by their teacher or their parents may ask for support as they have noticed a worry or concern in school or at home.
We keep the group small and never have more than 6 children at a time. Ideally we like to work with about 4 children with similar needs for example self esteem, anxiety or worry, support with group work, dealing with anger, thinking skills, emotions, friendships, social skills...
If you feel your child may benefit from one of these groups, please do get in touch with your child's class teacher or contact the office. Alternatively, you may wish to fill in the referral form below.
