Cockermouth Football Festival
Congratulations to our team of year 6 boys who represented Bridekirk Dovenby School at the football festival up at Cockermouth School today. They competed against six local schools and came out overall winners of the competition. They impressed Miss Rigg with their fantastic attitude and sportsmanship throughout the whole afternoon. There were six players on the pitch at any one time and they played four matches. Not a single goal was conceded and they scored a few stunning goals to seal their victory.
Well done boys and thank you to Miss Rigg for accompanying the team to Cockermouth School.
