Friday 13th November - World Kindness Day
Primary 2 started their new RE topic today, thinking about gifts. They will be learning about the gifts that were given to baby Jesus from the Three Kings, as well as Jesus himself being a gift from God.
Today (with it being World Kindness Day) we focussed on the gift of kindness. The children enjoyed sharing their ideas on how to be kind to everyone they meet, as well as talking about anyone who'd been particularly kind to them today.
Primary 2 then made kindness cards to give out to people who are special to them. One kind girl even gave out sweets to everyone, which she'd brought in today because it was her birthday. What a fantastic afternoon we had!
