• Foodbank Appeal Assembly

  Today the children were challenged to help feed the thousands! They listened to the story of the feeding of the five thousand and watched as Stuart's lunch box seemed to magically produce more and more bread rolls and tins of tuna fish!

  The children will take part in the Harvest Appeal by collecting tins and dry food to bring into school.

  

• Half rugby league/union match win for Broughton Red Rose. The boys from Bridekirk Dovenby school have the cup first to display. They beat Cockermouth Wasps in a friendly match.
