Today odd socks day was celebrated in school as part of Anti-Bullying Week, promoting kindness and celebrating individuality by wearing mismatched socks.
Wearing odd socks is a visual reminder that differences should be celebrated. It encouraged the children to talk about individuality and respect. In addition, all the classes are following the Jigsaw unit in their PHSE lessons about celebrating differences.
Some of the sock combinations were definitely odd - and were a talking point amongst the children at playtime.
