A Jewish visitor (via the magic of zoom!)
Although the pandemic continues to make it difficult to welcome visitors into school, Primary 4 were lucky enough to have Nina Leigh visit us on Zoom on Wednesday. Nina is Jewish and told us all about her faith. She showed us all sorts of Jewish artefacts and as we had some of these available in school we were able to explore and handle them too. She showed us how her family celebrate Shabbat every Friday and told us all about her synagogue. The children were able to ask lots of questions. This was a great opportunity to broaden our understanding of different faiths and will really contribute to our learning on Judaism in RE this half term.
