The children in year 4,5 and 6 have been showing their talent last night in the annual Christmas performance.
Several years ago, a play was performed in the school hall and then it became too small for the number of parents and friends wanting to watch the play so subsequently Blindcrake Village Hall was rented.
After a few years performing in the village hall, the same problems occurred and parents were squeezed in like sardines to watch. So the local theatre, The Kirkgate, in Cockermouth was to be the venue for another few years. The Wave in Maryport was then used but this year the school hired The Carnegie in Workington and, as usual, they entertained the audience with their drama talents. Well Done.
