Pupils in P5 have been very keen to lead clubs in school this year. A group of children in year 6 have organised a dance club for pupils in KS1 to attend. They have organised warm-up activities, dances and plan to put on a show for the rest of the school after Christmas.
In addition, a group of children in year 5 have set up a ‘library’ club. Again they have invited the younger children to attend. It’s great to watch them creating rotas, managing a register and engaging a group in a story. Listening to them questioning the children makes me think we have a group of teachers in the making.
A cricket club has also started - watch this space for the future Ben Stokes to take to the pitch!
