Success in the National Cross Country Championships!

Congratulations to Toby Kitchin who came 14th (out of 140) and first Cumbrian home in the XC championships at the weekend. 

Toby has run his first 3 cross country races this season:

1st -county champs 

5th - schools county champs

14th - schools nationals

Nationals:

Toby set off at a steady pace quietly and confidently working his way through from the middle of the pack and finished really strongly with a sprint. I am sure this will be the start of a very positive future in running and we look forward to watching the progress he makes!
