The Loveliest Spot
My loveliest spot is a secret,
and so I’m not eager to share,
if I were to tell you the place and location,
too many would soon travel there.
The loveliest thing about it,
is the only other living things,
are Sticklebacks and Minos in the river,
Ravens and Buzzards with soring wings.
We collect wood to make a fire,
when Grandad comes to this special spot.
“Grandad is this enough wood?’’
‘’Yes, that looks like allot!”
When I’m in my special place,
I can smell all the pretty flowers.
Daffodils, fox gloves and blue bells,
In spring we play there for hours.
As I sit by the banks in the long, tickly grass,
surrounded by God’s creation.
This is special, its my secret
Could this just be my imagination?

Mrs Fish
On Friday we couldn't award Golden Jumpers at school, so some of us sent in pictures of our nominations at home!
Some children celebrated Easter in their own homes as they couldn't go to church and others have written prayers for our community.
