  • Y1 "Hot Seating" in RE for the story of the Good Samaritan

    Thu 13 Feb 2020 Mrs B. Fletcher
The Y1 children have been learning all about the story of The Good Samaritan in R.E. This afternoon they had a go at "Hot Seating", which was lots of fun! Some children had a turn to sit at the front and pretend to be the injured man, the priest, the Levite, the robbers, the inn keeper, the Samaritan and even his donkey! The person in the hot seat was interviewed by the rest of the children and asked questions such as, "Why were you walking down that dangerous road?" and "Why didn't you stop to help?" The children thought of some interesting questions to ask each character and the characters came up with some fantastic replies.
